Great resource with lots of information. Free and online available. User friendly and easy to navigate. The homepage is unattractive with too much text.

It has great amounts of content, with resources on almost everything you can think of. Easy to find related subjects of study with easy to use, simple search engine, which loads, and produces results relatively fast. Rresources provided are reliable and entertaining

As much as I hate to praise anything Microsoft makes, Encarta leaves me no choice. The simple design and organization, coupled with a good search engine, makes research a cinch. There are lots of well-written articles, most of which (unlike Britannica''s) are still free.

It is a professionally designed site with a wealth of information on general topics and it has a nice atlas and images to enhance the learning process. Its articles are also written for the common young person and not so much for the scholar.

Very well designed, easy to use site. The layout is great, and the searches are so easy, that my children can do their homework assignments on their own.
