The free Lemon Check is helpful, but if you want to know more detail on your car, you have to pay for it or get one of their authorized dealers to look it up for you. They do give alot of information on their reports that can be very important when making a buying decision.

I do not object their selling the reports (instead of sharing the information for free), but the fact that this site has a Carfax Certified Dealers search, it rises a little doubt on their objectivity. Also from their sample reports, they look more simple

Excellent resource will car has a clean title history, whether your car was totalled and resold, whether the odometer has been rolled back, and even more. If you're buying a car, this site is essential.

Neutral opinion for Price level
They charge $19.95 for a history report. It is worth it if you are going to buy the car (or not based on a bad report), but not cost effective if you are trying to compare used vehicles to make a buying decision.
